Books I’ve Read (Or Listened To) So Far In 2018

Some of the links in this post are from our sponsors. Read our Disclaimer.

At the start of 2018, I made it a goal to ramp up the number of books I’d read (or listened to via Audible) in the year.  Looking back at the list of books I’ve read I can see I’ve done well so far.  Some of these are ones that I’ve pulled out and read this year for the second time.  It is amazing how much more you pick up out of a book the second time around, especially if it’s been a while since your first read through.

I’ve split them into 2 lists, 1 for personal finance/lifestyle related books and 1 for career/personal development.

Personal Finance and Lifestyle Books

Career and Personal Development

Takeaways

As you can see from looking over the books I’ve read so far in 2018 I have a strong interest in personal finance and also in career and self-development.  To me, the career and self-development books will have an impact on my personal finances as well.  I look at them as an investment in myself and that will support my development which leads to higher earning potential.  As you’ll read on this site as well as others, finding ways to increase and/or diversify your income streams increases your chances or reaching financial independence.

I will be adding in some books reviews on several of the books listed here and will highlight some of the key takeaways that I’ve implemented in my life and that you can use as well.
